When I asked why, the manager (Mr. Jay) told me that BookMyGarage services are carried out using non-genuine parts, which could invalidate the manufacturer warranty. He then offered to use genuine Toyota parts and extend the 1-year Toyota warranty, but only if I paid £50 more.
